ABWE & Dr. Donn Ketcham
American mission agency Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE; Penn.), protected Dr. Donn Ketcham’s private and public reputation for over 20 years, by stating in writing and in private communication that he was dismissed from ABWE as a result of “moral failure” or adultery and by failing to report him to US authorities from 1989-2011, despite more past victims coming forward each decade and ABWE's knowledge of Dr. Ketcham's family practice in Allendale, MI.
Additionally, ABWE tragically revictimized the victim who came forward in 1989 by accusing her (age 14) of adultery, while demonstrating extreme measures of care for her abuser.
#STOPKemptonCenterCurrently Baptist Bible College of Clark Summit, PA (now known as Summit University) has suspended their plans to name a building in Wendell Kempton's honor, as a direct result of your voices. Please continue to encourage Summit University to chose a more suitable name, one not connected with collusion and child sexual abuse, by emailing their current leadership: Office of the President

Love this article from a psychologist at George Mason, explaining how Paterno should be acting right now and how he can turn this shameful moment into a positive movement for the abused. (And some Christians think psychologists are quacks? I’ve … Continue reading
UPDATE ON 9/8/2012: WE ARE SO THRILLED TO SAY THAT ED FINALLY BROKE HIS SILENCE. HE DOES NOT SUPPORT ABWE’S ACTIONS. HE UNDERSTANDS THE PRICE OF SILENCE. THANK YOU, ED. THANK YOU. READ THIS, FRIENDS. Ed Stetzer recently made some … Continue reading
And now a great analysis of why institutions make the wrong choices and cover child abuse instead of doing the RIGHT THING. FAILURES TO ACT: WHY WE DON’T ALWAYS DO THE RIGHT THING. Which of the reasons do you think … Continue reading
